Pathways, Inc. Day Program Services

Pathways, Inc. Support Center will be closed INDEFINITELY, until further notice due to COVID-19.

In light of the COVID-19 situation, we will continually assess our situation. We are making decisions based on the health and well-being of our consumers and staff in accordance with CDC guidance. This is an ever evolving situation and we will post updates as new guidance is provided. Information will be posted on our website via the link to our Facebook page. 

 State Government has provided guidance on how we can continue providing our consumers their much needed service. We continue to provide services via telephone and/or video, in lieu of in person services. Liz Iampieri, Day Program Supervisor will be conducting the groups and reaching out to all enrolled consumers. Interested persons are also encouraged to contact Liz by phone at 240-309-1570 to ensure that scheduled services are provided.
   
We will be routinely check voicemails and encourage our consumers to utilize other Pathways services and natural supports during this time of social distancing.

If you will be unable to report for work you must contact your supervisor.  

CODE 1 HAZARDOUS WEATHER PREDICTED EMERGENCY PREPARATIONS TO BEGIN 
grocery shopping, four wheel drive vehicle accessibility, medication accessible, staffing preparations, flashlights and batteries on hand, adequate supply of ice/snow melt. 

CODE 2 HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS PRESENT NORMAL STAFFING
flexible arrival time permitted. Staff should report to work to receive their work assignment for the day. (Staff required to contact his/her supervisor to request unscheduled leave.) Facilities on Airport View Drive and Waldorf will be in operation pending the availability of transportation. Transportation assignments will be given to staff and will include but not be limited to situations such as providing transportation to the consumer's home or in emergency situations (examples provided under "emergency conditions").

CODE 3 VERY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS PRESENT 
Staff may request unscheduled leave (staff required to contact his/her supervisor if using leave). Airport View Drive Waldorf Facilities closed to consumers. Staff contact supervisor for work site assignment. No routine transportation provided for consumers. Exceptions to the no transportation provision of Code 3 would include situations where a staff member is already in the process of transporting consumers when the inclement weather event occurs, or in emergency situations (examples provided under "emergency conditions"). 

EMERGENCY CONDITIONS
Some examples of conditions that may warrant transporting consumers to another location: Furnace out, Water freezes, Electricity out for more than 4 hours, Little or no food or water in residence Transportation to an emergency shelter.
